Welcome from our principal
Welcome to Tarro Public School—a small, caring school with a big heart, where every child is known, valued and supported to succeed.
I feel incredibly proud to lead a team of dedicated staff who genuinely care about our students. Our teachers use explicit, evidence-based teaching, daily reviews and responsive learning groups to ensure every child receives the support or challenge they need. We are already seeing the difference this is making, particularly through the strong growth our students are achieving in mathematics.
While we are proud of the learning that happens in our classrooms, there is so much more to experience at Tarro. From our JOEYS transition program and strong wellbeing support to sport, creative arts, cultural programs and High Potential and Gifted Education opportunities, we work hard to help every child feel that they belong, build confidence and discover what they are capable of.
