Our size is one of our strengths. Staff know our students—their personalities, interests, strengths and learning needs. Children build connections across year groups and become part of a caring community where they are noticed, valued and encouraged.

Explicit Teaching, High Expectations, Confident Learners
Our teachers use explicit, evidence-based teaching so students understand what they are learning, why it matters and how to succeed.
Daily review helps students retain important knowledge and skills, while differentiated learning groups allow teachers to provide targeted support, additional practice or extension according to students’ needs.
Support and challenge for every learner
Every child deserves to experience success and make progress. Our teachers, curriculum leaders, learning and support team, SLSOs, school psychologist, social worker and community staff work together to understand and respond to individual needs.
Students may receive targeted intervention, classroom adjustments, wellbeing support or additional challenge through extension and High Potential and Gifted Education opportunities.
A confident start to school
Our extended JOEYS transition program runs from Term 2 each year, and helps children begin Kindergarten feeling familiar, confident and connected.
Children meet staff, explore classrooms, practise school routines and participate in engaging early learning experiences before their first day. Families also have opportunities to ask questions, build relationships and become part of the school community.

Berry Street Education Model practices, Grow Your Mind, breakfast club, passive-play options and targeted wellbeing support are embedded across school life.
